Every time I think of what my sister went through when she was dealing with her drug and alcohol dependence I get sick to my stomach. The way she looked was horrible all sunken in and skinny. Thank god we were able to find drug rehab for her before she killed herself. I never knew that drug and alcohol dependence could take such a toll on a person and change them so much nor did I understand how drug rehab could restore a person back to their original self.
