Eglin AFB Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Centers

Elgin Air Force Base Alcohol And Drug Abuse Prevention And Treatment Center

There is currently one major drug abuse and rehabilitation services provider operating in the Elgin AFB city area. It is the Elgin Air Force Base Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment Center, which is also commonly referred to by the name ADAPT. It is located at 96 MDOS/SGOW at 307 Boater Road, Suite 114. The primary focus of the facility involves acting as a substance abuse treatment services provider for both individuals in the United States Armed Forces and their family members.

A large number of different types of care are available at the facility for people to choose from depending on their needs. These include both traditional outpatient drug rehabilitation and intensive outpatient options. Holistic residential treatment is also available, which can include homeopathic and alternative options as well as other types of treatment that are not related to any traditional 12 Step drug rehab program.

In addition to drug rehabilitation treatment against both street drugs and prescription medication, the center also acts as a drug detoxification clinic. Both suboxone treatment and medical detoxification are available upon request. Some of the prescription medications that the center can help fight include Adderall, Morphine, Vicodin, Percocet and more.

Payment Options

Many different forms of payment are accepted by the facility that individuals can choose from depending on their needs. Military insurance is always accepted from both the VA and Tricare. Private insurance is also readily accepted from many providers like AmeriHealth, oxford Health Plans, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and more. The facility is one of the many in the state of Florida that accepts not only Medicaid and Medicare, but also health plans that were purchased on the public marketplace through the Affordable Care Act. If a person is undergoing treatment in a private or luxury drug rehab, self payment is also always an option.
