Shungnak Drug Abuse Rehabilitation Facilities

There is currently one major drug abuse and rehabilitation facility operating in the Shungnak city area for residents to choose from in their time of need. It is called the Native Village of Shungnak Center, which is located inside the Shungnak Clinic on Front Street. It acts as a general health services provider, offering both private and luxury drug rehab services to residents of all ages. Many types of care are currently available at the facility including both intensive outpatient (usually referred to as IOP) and traditional outpatient drug rehab. Biophysical rehabilitation, therapeutic recovery, non 12 step-related programs and other holistic residential treatment options are also made available to patients.

This facility accepts many forms of payment giving patients a number of convenient options to choose from depending on their own financial situations. In addition to self payment (which can include cash, check, money order and more), this is also one of the major drug rehab facilities in the state that accepts both Medicaid and Medicare. The facility is financed by the state, which means that it also accepts insurance plans that were purchased via the state marketplace under the Affordable Care Act. Many types of private insurance are also accepted including Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, NGS Coresource, Aetna, Medical Mutual and more. Finally, military insurance is also accepted through outlets like TriCare or the Veteran's Authority.

In the event that you do not have insurance but still need drug abuse information or treatment, a sliding fee scale is also available. This means that the fee that you will be asked to pay will be adjusted based in your income and other economic factors. Financing, payment assistance and even scholarships and loans are also available.

The facility itself also offers a wide range of special program including drug rehab for female clients, addiction treatment for women who are currently pregnant, group therapy, relapse prevention therapy and more. The center also acts as a court ordered drug rehab option for those who have received DWI or DUI offenses in the past.
