Drug Abuse and Rehabilitation Facility Information

If you're in Alaska and are in need of drug or alcohol related assistance, there is currently one major facility that you can go to in your time of need. It is called the Copper River Native Association Behavioral Health Services Department, located at Mile 104 Old Richardson Highway in Copper Center. The primary focus of the facility is to offer the most comprehensive mixture of mental and substance abuse services to residents in this area. The facility provides many different types of care for you to choose from depending on the nature of your situation including IOP (also commonly referred to as intensive outpatient treatment), outpatient drug rehab and more. Inpatient rehabilitation services are also available that include but are not limited to partial hospitalization, day treatment and more.

If you'll be participating in the residential long-term inpatient program at the facility, you can choose from 60 day, 90 day or 120 day periods. Alterative treatment options are also available, which include factors like biophysical rehabilitation, therapeutic recovery and more.

The facility also offers a wide range of different payment options, allowing patients to get the treatment they need without worrying about their finances. Self payment is always available which can include check, credit card, cash or even money order. This is also one of the major facilities in the entire state that accepts Medicaid and Medicare. Private insurance and military insurance are also accepted, as are insurance policies purchased under the Affordable Care Act through the Alaska state marketplace.

Additionally, an income-based fee scale is also available that will adjust the fee that a person will be required to pay based on their income and certain other economic factors.

The facility offers drug rehabilitation and treatment for a wide range of different types of controlled substances including prescription medication, crack, opiates, MDMA, Percocet, Darvacet, Concerta, Ambien, cough syrup and more. Dual diagnosis treatment is also available, meaning that people with co-occurring dependencies can get all of the treatment that they need through this single facility. Additionally, treatment for Spanish speakers is also available.
