After completing his medical training in London, Dr. Yellowlees worked in Australia for 20 years before joining UC Davis to continue his research in telemedicine and eHealth. He has an international reputation in telemedicine and long-distance health and education delivery. Dr. Yellowlees’ research centers on improving access to health and education services using information technologies. He has published three books and hundreds of scientific articles, has been awarded an estimated $12 million in research grants and presented in 20 countries. Dr. Yellowlees was elected President of the American Telemedicine Association in 2017.
