Dr. Eric Wish is Director of the Center for Substance Abuse Research (CESAR) at the University of Maryland. He is also the Principal Investigator for the National Drug Early Warning System (NDEWS) funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the Community Drug Early Warning System (CDEWS) funded by the White House Office of National Drug Policy.
Dr. Wish received his Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 1977. He has published extensively in the areas of drug abuse epidemiology, treatment outcomes and the measurement of drug use in criminal populations.
